Dr. Al-Hassany completed his endodontic residency at Columbia University in 2016, where he served as chief resident. He earned his dental degree from Baghdad University and completed an additional residency in general dentistry at Cairo University, building a strong clinical foundation before pursuing specialty practice.
His research and daily clinical focus center on surgical techniques in root canal procedures, with a commitment to applying the most advanced, evidence-based methods in both surgical and non-surgical care. He is currently working toward his IV sedation license and is a proud member of the American Association of Endodontists.

Dr. Al-Hassany believes that a great patient experience goes beyond clinical skill. He takes the time to understand each patient's concerns, address their anxiety, and ensure they feel informed and comfortable at every stage of treatment. In addition to English, Dr. Al-Hassany is fluent in Arabic, making him an accessible and trusted provider for a diverse patient community across Northern Virginia.
Beyond the Office
Outside of work, Dr. Al-Hassany enjoys spending time with his wife and son exploring the DC metro area, hiking local parks, playing on a community soccer team, and traveling whenever the opportunity arises.
